As the album recording has been halted by the pandemic and lockdown it’s given me the chance to look back on some of the previous years recordings . Me and my good friend Bear Bozeman hung out in Amsterdam in the early winter last year. As the first of an experimental ‘songwriters retreat’ we converted his ramshackle bedroom into a makeshift stage to record and film performances over a period of about five days. As we both normally live with our partners the testosterone of this arrangement went to our heads and so we got severely wrecked over this period so didn’t get as much done as we’d hoped. Nevertheless there were some trinkets . Enough for an unplanned-for EP as it turns out..
